Harold E."Bud" Hall of Big Bend Road, Emlenton, went to be with the Lord at 6:13 PM Sunday, July 20, 2014, while in hospice care at Butler Veterans Affairs Community Living Center. He was 90.
Mr. Hall was born July 6, 1924, on Goshen Road in Big Bend, a son of Harry C. and Maude Robinson Hall. Bud was 1942 graduate of the former Emlenton High School.
He was a longtime active member of Big Bend United Methodist Church, where he served for many years as Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher and church trustee.
Bud was a World War II veteran of the Navy and was a radioman aboard a bomber, having served in Guam, the Philippines and the Titran Islands.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening and building model cars and airplanes. Bud was proud the he had built the house in which he and his wife resided.
he retired in 1986 after 35 years of service a the former Cooper Bessemer in Grove City.
Bud is survived by his wife, S. Kay Swindford Hall, whom he married December 23, 1952 in Summerville. Also surviving are three daughters: Cindy R. (Verle) Flemming, Emlenton; D. Collen (William) Cinert, Lisle, Illinois; Cheryl L. (William) Caldwell, Grove City; 10 grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Flemming, Wahynesboro, Pennsylvania; Kevin (Tanya) Flemming, Pine Grove, Pennsylvania; Aaron (Sarah) Flemming Dillsburg, Pennsylvania; Laurie (Michael) Patton, Oswego, Illinois; Kimberly (Sam) Youssef, Clarendon Hills, Illinois; Bryan Cinert, Willowbrook, Illinois; Terri (Jay) Masiak, Montana; Michael Cinert, Lisle; and Andrew and Phillip Caldwell both of Grove City; 10 great grandchildren, Nathan, Alexis, Mathew, Emma, Emily, Ian, Ethan, McKenzie, Jonathon and Abbie; and a number of brothers-in- law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons, Alexander Caldwell and Shane Cinert; a brother, Arthur Hall; and three sisters, Ruth Hall, Hazel King and Pearl Moon.

Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Wednesday in the Hile Funeral Home, INC., 1204 Kerr Avenue, Emlenton; and 10:00 AM until time of service Thursday in Big Bend United Methodist Church, Emlenton, with the Reverend Kent O'Neil, pastor, officiating. Military honors to be presented at Big Bend Cemetery.
