Lula Mae Ivie, 93, of Newbern, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Baptist Hospital-East in Memphis.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. John #1 Baptist Church in Newbern with Bro. Jackie Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Newbern-RoEllen Cemetery. H.H. Hudson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors at 12 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Survivors include three daughters, Daisy (Paul) Johnson of Dyersburg, Linda (Al) Perkins and Patty (Larry) Frier, of Newbern; a son, J.W. Jr. (Shelia) Ivie of Trimble; 14 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Sr.; and two daughters, Mae Catherine and Ivie Holder.
