DEDHAM, MASS., AND NEWTON, MASS. - Irma F. (Hoffman) Etscovitz entered into rest June 3, 2013, at home with family by her side.

She was the beloved wife of Dr. Eli A. Etscovitz, with whom she shared 69 years of marriage; devoted mother of Larry Etscovitz of Kittery, Jacob A. Esher, esquire, of Beverly, Mass., and Diane Dolin and husband, Dr. Scott L. Dolin, of West Hartford, Conn.; loving sister of Robert J. Hoffman, esquire, and wife, Phyllis, of Cambridge, Mass., and Arlene Hecht and late husband, Dr. Sanford D. Hecht, of Newton, Mass., and Falmouth, Mass.; cherished grandmother of Benjamin Etscovitz and wife, Alexandra, Joel and Samantha Esher, Rachel and Adam Dolin, and great-grandchild, Bella Etscovitz; and loving aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Irma was a talented woman in all of the arts as a poet, accomplished pianist and painter. She attended Boston University College of Music.

Interment will be after at Sharon Memorial Park. (Bangor Daily News 6/6/2013)
