"Watson Callen was born February 2, 1816 in Toby twp, Armstrong Co, PA, he married Jane Shadle born February 12, 1820. Jane was the daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth (Fox) Shadle who moved to Monroe Twp, Armstrong Co, in 1832 or 1833. This area of Armstrong Co became Clarion Co in 1840
By occupation Watson was an inn keeper and farmer. He died sometime between 1870-1880 in Brockway, Jefferson Co, PA. His wife Jane died July 21, 1888. both are buried in the Wildwood Cemetery in Brockwayville, PA, in unmarked graves."
