Memorial services for Marian Doris Davis (Pek), 48, of Killeen, will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Killeen Memorial Park Chapel, 3516 Lake Road, Killeen, where she also will be laid to rest.
Ms. Davis died April 28, 2013. She was born Sept. 13, 1964, to Renate and Arthur Davis in Tacoma, Wash.
She grew up in a military family and has been a resident of Killeen since 1975. She went through Job Corps, and worked for Sallie Mae for several years and for Fannie Mae.
She loved her animals and has had many over the years and would even take care of pets that were in need of some TLC at any time.
Romans 8:38-39: "For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Ms. Davis was preceded in death by her brother, Steven C. Davis, in 2005; and her mother, Renate Davis, in 2009.
Survivors include her brother, Michael Davis of Alabama; brother, Terry Davis; her father, Arthur Davis; sister, Jennifer Brown, all of Texas; and four nieces, Ashley Davis of Alabama, Stephanie Davis, Linda Davis and Buffy Fogle, all of Texas.
