LAWRENCE I. "Larry" CHARNAS, died peacefully on June 1, 2013.
Beloved father of Steven (Aynne Hartman) Charnas and Devoted grandfather of Adam Charnas. Cherished son of the late Lillian and Nathan Charnas and loving brother of the late Barbara Arsham.
After retirement, Larry was a dedicated volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in Cleveland, Ohio, working both in the Restore and on the building crew. His years with Habitat brought him much personal satisfaction and he was grateful for the many wonderful people he worked with. In 2007, Larry was the recipient of the Leahy Award for his volunteer work with Habitat.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 6 at 11AM at the Mayfield Cemetery, 2749 Mayfield Rd., Cleveland Heights, OH.
Family requests no visitation. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute to Habitat for Humanity.
