LAUREL. Miss., April 17 (AP) Funeral services were held yesterday at Calvary Church in Mize for the Rev. C. S. Thornton, 58, minister of the gospel for many years, who died Thursday in a Jackson, Miss., hospital.
Mr. Thornton served as pastor for numerous churches in this section, including Indian . Springs and Mount Ora, near Laurel.
