GEORGE INDIANA McSHERRY, 94, of Hagerstown, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at the Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville, Pa.
Born Feb 16, 1912 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late George F and Barbara E Miner Manious. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Emanuel McSherry.
She was a nurse and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hagerstown.
She is survived by four daughters, Barbara J Dunn-Smith, Hagerstown; Dora E White, Little River, SC; K Marlene Shafer, Hagerstown; and Virginia D Hammond, Dalton, Neb; sister, Mary Rummel, Hagerstown; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and her caregiver, Debra Harbaugh.
She was preceded in death by one half-sister, Gertrude Funk; one granddaughter and one grandson.
Services on Friday at 11 am at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Pastor Tom Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
