HALDEMAN--Died happy in the Lord, in Morrow Co., Ohio, April 24, 1877, Anna Maria, wife of Jacob Haldeman (maiden name Minich), at the advanced age of 96 years, 1 month and 1 day. The deceased was married to Jacob Haldeman August 5, 1805 in Lancaster Co., Pa. A few years thereafter they removed to Fredericktown, Knox Co., Ohio and 18 months later to the above named place where they lived together for over 50 years, and where both died happy in the Lord. Mother H was converted in the year 1837, united with the Evangelical Association, and remained faithful till death. For many years public worship and protracted meetings were held in their house and barn. Full of years and with earnest longings for heaven, the dear sister entered the saint's everlasting rest. She leaves 3 sons and 2 daughters (several children having preceded her) to mourn her departure, but not as those who have no hope. The funeral services were conducted by Bro. J. S. Hawks and the writer.
