Howard Henry Carwile, 63, of Indianola died Wednesday morning at his home, following an illness. Funeral services were to be at 3 p.m. at the Coleman Funeral Home Chapel in Indianola. Burial was to follow in the city cemetery.
The Rev. William Hughes and Rev. William Harrison were to officiate. Mr. Carwile was a retired salesman, veteran of World War Two and a member the Indianola Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary Belle Carwile of Indianola; two sisters, Blanche Dickerson of Indianola and Mrs. Mary D. Ezelle of Greenville and one brother, Billy Turner Carwile of Memphis, Tenn..
