Frances Arey Chamberlin Frost

Early Life: Frances was born March 19, 1924, to Ralph Vary and Edith Simons Chamberlin in in East Millcreek, Utah. She spent her childhood there as she learned to appreciate the blessings of hard work and the value of service to others.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: On July 15, 1961, Frances married her eternal companion, Jack Garn Frost; they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.
❦ She chose a career in nursing and attended the University of Utah and University of Michigan to fulfill her dreams. She taught nursing at the University of Utah and served various other positions which included being in charge of crib death in the state.
❦ Frances loved to write poems to all those that needed a special lift in their lives and enjoyed cooking special goodies for them. Later, after her retirement in 1985, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her kind and warm spirit was always felt by those she touched.
❦ As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she held many callings; her favorite was a teacher and servant to those in need.
❦ She will always be remembered for her love of the Jazz, playing board games and having a laugh or two, and will be greatly missed by all. She was a fighter to the end, never wavering in faith of the great eternal plan set for her. Frances Arey Chamberlin Frost was released peacefully from her earthly state at her home on August 17, 2012. She was 88.
Survived By: Her two children: Julie Kay Jackson and Ralph (Susan) Frost; her six grandchildren: Jared (Jamie) Frost, Jacob Frost, Camille (David) Baker, Benjamin Frost, Kirsten Baum, and Aaron (Mimi) Clark; her five great-grandchildren: Jacob, Abby, Tabitha, Dallen, and Isabelle; as well as her sisters Shirley Chamberlin, Edith Kearfott, and Martha Sue Wolf.
Predeceased By: Her loving husband, Jack; parents; brother, Elliot; and sister, Helen.
