Lula Parks, a Terrell resident, died early Tuesday, March 14, 1989. Funeral services were held at the graveside at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Oakland Memorial Park with Byron Corn officiating. Internment will be under the direction of Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Terrell.
Lula Parks, a daughter of the late William Sheats and Mandy Ella Sheats, was born in Kaufman County on Sept. 10, 1903. She lived in the local area all her life until moving to Dallas with her daughter one year ago.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was married to Ezera Parks and to this union one child was born. She was preceded in death by her husband.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Marshall Schultz of Dallas; one sister, Laura Dodd of Aztec, N.M.; and other relatives.
