Mrs. Lena Lumley, 73 of Valdosta, formerly of Jacksonville, FL, died on Friday, Jan. 30, 2004 at her residence. Born on June 24, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Luther D. (L.D.) and Loudell Levy Sirmans. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lou and Bubba Fletcher, Debbie and Lee Griffin; son and daughter-in-law, Ira and Joyce Lumley all of Valdosta, grandchildren, Brent Fletcher, Brandi Fletcher, MIchelle Ulyatt, Ray Simpson, Brandy Fischbach; great grandson, Christian Fischbach; sister and brother-in-law, Dee Anna and John W. Roberts and niece, Dena Dell Webb all of Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Leroy (Al) Lumley.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lumley will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2, 2004 in the Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
