Loraine was the dau. of Roseva Harding and Donald L. Glascoe. She had four siblings, June, Lula, Donald and Lloyd. She married Edmond Thomas Cobley on March 14, 1936 and they adopted a little girl in 1946. Loraine was known to almost all her relatives as "Sis", she had a wonderful laugh and laughed often. She loved life beyond measure and was not one to give up easily in anything she tried. She had a hard childhood growing up during the depression in a poor family but she came through with a strong determination to survive and do well. She was my mother and I will miss her with all my soul for the rest of my life on earth. I thank God everyday that I somehow was given to her to raise. No one could have done a better job of raising this child.
