Norma R. Holmes, age 89, life resident of Pulaski, passed away Thursday at Seneca Hill Manor in Oswego. Norma was born August 25, 1923 in Pulaski. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1941. Norma married Richard Holmes on May 11, 1943, and he passed away November 19, 1971. She was employed by Niagara Mohawk Power Co. at Nine Mile One for 10 years, retiring in 1989. She was also employed by General Telephone in Pulaski for many years. Norma was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and former member of the Pulaski Grange. Surviving are two sons, Gary Holmes of Georgetown, CO and Scott (Jennifer) Holmes of Pulaski; one brother, Paul Ingersoll of Syracuse; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Norma was predeceased by one son, James R. Holmes who died July 2, 1996, and two grandsons, Jeffery Holmes who died in 1993 and Kyle Holmes who died in 2002. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
