Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Seybolt celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Fessenden this village, Tuesday, October 4th. Guests were received from two to five o'clock, during which time Mrs. N. L. Woodford and Mr. C. K. Hollenbeck, accompanied by Mrs. Hollenbeck, entertained delightfully with musical numbers.

Mr. and Mrs. Seybolt received hearty congratulations and good wishes from their many friends as well as many lovely gifts. The tea table set with golden candles and calendulas, was presided over by Mrs. W. H. Seybolt of New Kensington, Pa., Miss Alice Hollenbeck of Norfolk, Va. and Mrs. Howard Saxton of Stewart, Florida.

The following guests were received - Mrs. Florence Page, Mrs. Hartman Carr, Mrs. Warren Counsell, Mrs. Otto Spencer, Mrs. Lillian Osborn, Dr. and Mrs. N. L. Woodford, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Mrs. Alice Beebee Seybolt, wife of William D. Seybolt, formerly of Syracuse, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. D. Fessenden in Union Springs, Monday evening. Mrs. Seybolt had been in poor health for some time. She was born in Dewitt,. N.Y. on Nov. 24, 1860, daughter of the late Roxcena Hill and John W. Beebee. She was a member of the Good Will Congregational Church of Syracuse, and was the organizer and teacher for many years of the Friendly Bible Class of that church.

Besides her husband she is survived by five children; Rev. Wm. H. of Conemaugh, Pa.; Mrs. B. T. Hawley of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. C. L. Hollenbeck of Norfolk. Va.; Mrs. C. D. Fessenden of Union Springs; C. B. Seybolt, C.S.P., U.S. Navy at Pearl Harbor; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at her home, 15 Center St., Union Springs, on Wednesday, Oct 4, at 2:30 p.m., with burial in Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Rev. George M. Gordon will officiate.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 4, 1944. at 2:00 p.m., at her late home, 15 Centre Street, Union Springs, N. Y., with interment In Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
