Catherine Shirley Krisher, 82 years of Spring St. Livonia, died Wednesday January 6, 2010 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She was born in Groveland, NY August 31, 1927 the daughter of Michael and Blanche Donovan McNeil. Shirley married her late husband, Leo Krisher, June 24, 1950. Shirley was a member of the former St. Josephs Church in Livonia and its Silver Liners Club and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a member of St. Matthews Church, the Livingston County and Town of Livonia Democratic Committee, the Livonia Assessment Board of Review, Livonia Zoning Board of Appeals and also was an election inspector. After her family was raised, she was employed by Brador Publications in Livonia.
She is survived by her daughter Sheila Krisher of Livonia; sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Kathy Krisher of Churchville, Michael and Debbie Krisher of Central Square, NY. Grandchildren, Sean Krisher of Churchville and Erin Krisher of Liverpool, NY. Step grandchildren, Erik Burnam and Michelle Burnam Martin of Syracuse. Step great grandchildren, Samuel and Justin Martin of Syracuse. Brother, Robert McNeil of Rochester. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass, Friday, 1 PM at St. Matthews Church, Route 20A Livonia, with Rev. John H. Hayes officiating. Burial, St. Michaels Cemetery.
