LARGO, Fla.
Ronald G. Baker, Sr., 65, of Largo, Fla., died Thursday at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, Fla.
He was born Aug. 13, 1938, in Norwalk and moved to Florida in 1972.
He was employed by Norwalk Furniture and R.R. Donnelley in Willard. He worked for MAC Tools for over 30 years as the district sales manager of the Southwest Florida district and as a distributor for Pinellas and Charlotte counties. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and Methodist by faith. He was the assistant scoutmaster for Troop No. 488 at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church in Largo.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marilyn J. Baker; sons, Ronald G. Baker Jr. of North Port, Fla., Stephen M. Baker of Opelika, Ala. and David B. Baker of Largo, Fla.; mother, Betty Baker of Norwalk; a brother, Robert Baker of Norwalk; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Moss Feaster Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Serenity Gardens Chapel, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, Fla. 33774.
Memorial gifts may be sent to the Hospice Foundation of the Florida Suncoast, 300 E. Bay Dr., Largo, Fla. 33770.
