Upon graduation in 1974, he worked for the Santa Fe Railroad, before serving 4 years in the US Air Force.

He is survived by his Mother, of Marceline, MO, two Daughters, three Brothers, his former Wife.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Lewis R. Sporer, in 1988.
