Jan Carl Barker, 58, of New Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at his residence.
He was born January 26, 1954 in Weirton, a son of the late Carl O. & Ary Alice (Burton) Barker. He was also preceded in death by a brother Jeff Barker.
He was a retired painter from GCP Contracting and Falcon Transportation as a truck driver.
Jan was a great singer, loved playing guitar, loved fishing and hunting, but his greatest joy was spending time with his children.
Surviving are his wife Leona (Ware) Barker at home; three children, Colleen Barker, Danny Barker & Cristina Luke all of New Cumberland; two sisters, Judy Barker of Virginia and Connie Roberts of Florida; one brother, Jack Barker of Morgantown; and four grandchildren, Alayna, Ginafae, Kaylee and Aiden.
Friends were received at the Turley Funeral Home in New Cumberland on Saturday, October 27, 2012.
