William A. Whaley
William A. Whaley, 78, Greenfield, died Wednesday at 7:20 P.M. in Greenfield Municipal Hospital. A landscaper, he was born March 6, 1892, in Fayette County, a son of Richard and Rebecca Anders Whaley. His wife, the former Lillie Howland, died Nov. 15, 1963.
Services were held Saturday at 1 P.M. in the Murray Funeral Home. Interment was in Greenfield Cemetery.
He is survived by four sons, William Jr., George and Richard Whaley, all of Greenfield, and Charles Whaley, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Faye) Holloway, Springfield, and Mrs. Cecil (Mary) Fulkerson, Hillsboro; a stepson, LeRoy Stuckey, of Greenfield, and 27 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a stepson, two brothers and a sister.
