Hazel McAlister Billingsley, 91, passed away May 11, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Billingsley was a member of First Baptist Church Senatobia and also attended Highland Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener, cook, and loved to bird watch. She also loved to travel worldwide. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Travis "Doc" Billingsley, her daughter, Deborah Jo Billingsley White, her son, Thomas Larry Billingsley; five sisters and two brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Juanita Billingsley Dunn (Walter) of Cordova, TN and Linda Billingsley Taylor (Tommy) of Lugoff, SC.; three sons, William Travis Billingsley (Jane) of Senatobia, MS, Rickey "Doc" Billingsley (Sandra) of Laws Hill, MS, and Neal Lankford Billingsley of Senatobia, MS; 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 4 great- great grandchildren. The family would like to recognize her special companion and caregiver, Bonnie Manuel and her hospice nurse, Ann Marie Seay. The family request any memorials be sent to Highland Baptist Church in Senatobia, MS.
