Willard Ives received a telegram a little before noon today announcing the death of his father last evening at Mound City, Kansas, where the old gentleman has been making his home for some time past. The remains are expected to arrive here by this evenings train and the funeral will take place immediately upon the arrival of the train, short services being held at the grave.
