The funeral for Leah Kramlich, Kulm, ND will be Friday, May 24, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Zion United Methodist Church at Lehr, ND.

Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Kulm, ND.

Burial will be at the Kulm Congregational Cemetery, Kulm, ND.

Leah Roloff, was born December 13, 1914 in Dickey County to Nathaniel and Lydia (Bader) Roloff. She grew up on a farm 9 miles south of Kulm and attended the local country school, going thru the eighth grade. Leah was baptized and confirmed in a rural Congregational Church south of Kulm.

Leah was united in marriage to Reinhold Kramlich on January 8, 1933. There were 6 children born to this union. They farmed on several farms until 1942 when they bought the Kramlich family farm. In 1952 they started a Butcher Shop on the farm to help supplement the farm income. In 1962 they bought the Kulm Locker Plant and in 1963 moved into Kulm. After selling Kramlich Locker Plant to their son, Donald, Leah continued to work for him until 1980.

After retirement Leah made many quilts. She enjoyed giving them to her family. Leah always had a garden, canning much of her produce. She also baked many apple pies with apples from the apple trees in their yard. Leah became a member of the Evangelical (later United Methodist) Church in 1934. She was a lifelong member until the church closed in 2011 when her membership was transferred to the UMC at Lehr.

Leah made her home in the Wishek Living Center from May 2005 until her death.

Leah passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Wishek Living Center, Wishek, ND. She was 98 year and 5 months old.

Leah is survived by 3 sons, Wilbert (Ella) Kramlich, Kulm, ND; LeRoy (Joyce) Kramlich, Kulm, ND; Donald (Sharlain) Kramlich, Aberdeen, SD; 3 daughters, Marion (LeRoy) Schweigert, Lehr, ND; Violet (Darrel) Buchholz, Lehr, ND; Elaine (Dwight) Johnson, Moorhead, MN; 15 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lucille Anderson, Kulm, ND; Edna Deffes, Bethany, OK; one sister-in-law, Audrey Roloff, White Bear Lake, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reinhold, her parents, son-in-law, Art Woehl, Grandson, Kevin Woehl, Great-Grandson, Jordy Buchholz, Great-Great Granddaughter, Abigail Dorrington, four brothers, Clarence, Raymond, Howard, Lee and one sister, Selma.
