Donna Kay Vaughn LUBBOCK-Donna Kay Vaughn, 65, of Lubbock, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. She was born on January 5, 1948, in Lubbock, Texas, to Andy and Dorothy Jo Anderson. She was devoted to her kids and grandkids, attending every activity they were involved in. She was also an active member in her church, serving in children's ministries, small groups, and book clubs. Donna loved the Lord and it showed in everything she did. She is survived by her children, Tommy and Janet Burkhead, Jerry and Darleen McDannels, Andy McDannels; grandchildren, Trevor, Rebecca, Shelby, and Macie Burkhead, and Hunter and Zeta McDannels, all of Lubbock; and sister, Beverly Wilks of Ocala, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Larry Vaughn. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sanders Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, May 29, 3 p.m., at Live Oak Community Church in Lubbock. Place of interment will be Anton, Texas.
