BALDWYN – Denise Thornton Kennedy, 45, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville.
She was a member of Ingram Baptist Church. She was owner of Huckleberries clothing store in Baldwyn. She was a supervisor of Litco Petroleum Express Shop and was the office manager for Adults and Childrens Medical Clinic. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Main Street Association of Baldwyn and The Dixie Divas.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Kesler Funeral Home Chapel in Baldwyn with Bro. Nick Ulmer and Bro. Joe Herndon officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Andy Kennedy of Baldwyn; one daughter, Brandie Kennedy of Baldwyn; three sons, Nicholas Kennedy (Kristen) of Baldwyn, Carl Lee King of Baldwyn and Seaman Recruit Robert A. Kennedy of Great Lakes, Ill.; her mother, Betty Thornton of Baldwyn; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jackie and Shirley Kennedy of Jumpertown.
She was preceded in death by her father Ray Thornton; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Cox.
Pallbearers will be Nick Kennedy, Tony Kennedy, Chris Witt, Wayne Murphy, Tim Barker and Michael Wren.
