PATTERSON, Marcia Alice, 86, of Barton Road, St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed Friday May 24, 2013 at Bishop Joseph H. Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling, W. Va.
She was born April 21, 1927, a daughter of the late Ruel E. and Esther Steinman Blair.
Marcia was a former Buyer for Stone & Thomas Department Stores; an Elder and Deacon at Kirkwood Presbyterian Church; volunteer at Bridgeport Food Pantry; Christian Friendship Council; and a member of Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry R. Patterson; and sisters: Carol Paglialunga, Evelyn Pickenpaugh, and Catherine Poludniak.
Marcia is survived by brothers: William (Marie) Blair of St. Clairsville, Robert (Rose) Blair of St. Clairsville, Raymond (Betty) Blair of Davenport, Fla., Ben (Anne) Blair of St. Clairsville, Don (Charlotte) Blair of St. Clairsville, Gene (Rose Marie) Blair of Talland, Conn; Ralph (Rita) Blair of Wilmington, NC, John Blair of St. Clairsville, Jimmie (Jeri) Blair of Stockbridge, GA.; sisters: Edna Mae Coward, of El Paso, TX, Judith Dombroski (Walter) of Harrisville, OH, Annette (Yale) Budovsky of Las Vegas, Nev., numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, Bridgeport, Ohio on May 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. David Demarest, officiating.
