Mrs. Nora Lynn Of Arcola Dies

Mrs. Nora Alice Lynn, 74, a long-time resident of Arcola and mother of four Mattoon residents, died about 5:30 a.m. today in Jarman Hospital, Tuscola. She had been ill for several months.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Shrader funeral home, Arcola, Rev. J.C. Gearhart officiating. Burial will be in Arcola cemetery.

She was born June 1, 1877, at Cooks Mills, a daughter of Oliver and Lavina Brannen.

Last July 17 she and her husband, David Lynn, celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary. They were married at Arcola and resided there throughout their wedded life. He survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Harden and Mrs. Nettie Carl, both of Mattoon; four sons, Charles and Orval Lynn, both of Mattoon, and Ollie and Albert Lynn, both of Arcola; two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Nettie Wall, Mrs. Sadie Lynch and William Brannen, all of Arcola, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
