Last Rites Tuesday For Mrs. Evan

Mrs. Annie Evan, native of Czechoslovakia, died at 5:45 a.m. Sunday in the Sievers convalescent home.

Services have been scheduled for Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the St. James Catholic church preceded by an 8:45 a.m. service at the Seydler Funeral home where the body was taken following death.

The Rev. Peter J. Roebrokes, pastor, will officiate at the services and also at the Rosary to be recited at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Monday, tonight. Burial will take place in the St. James cemetery.

Mrs. Evan was born on January 15, 1887, in Czechoslovakia, and was married to Alois Evan, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the St. James church.

She was the daughter of Joseph and Cecile Soukalova Michalec, natives of Czechoslovakia.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Joe Gajdos of Bebe; three sons, Charles Evan of Arnold, Mo.; and Laddie Evan of Cameron.

One brother, August Michale of Czechoslovakia also survives her.

Pallbearers will be Sam Garvel, Raymond Heinemeyer, Fred Sekula, Anton Lesak, Jr., John Mikolajczyk and Alois A. Huhs.
