PINEKNOB, Sept. 12 - Mrs. Mary Susan Cook, 85, died here Sunday at the home of her son, Chap Cook.

A native of Pineknob, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ephriam Dickens.

She is survived by two other sons, Joe Cook of Fairdale and Byrd Cook of Dry Creek; three daughters, Mrs. Martha Stewart and Mrs. Oscar Stewart, both of Pineknob, and Mrs. Dora Cornette of Morehead, Ky.; 41 grandchildren and 59 great-grandchildren.

The body will be removed from the Valley Funeral Home at Whitesville to the home of her son, Chap Cook, at 5 p.m. today.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at her son's home with the Rev. Jake Osborne of Charleston officiating. Burial will follow in the Cook Cemetery at Pineknob.
