She walked into the arms of her Lord and Savior joining her grandparents and father Jim in heaven.
Jamie was born in Springfield, Ohio on February 13, 1978 to Jim and Linda (Jenkins) Maurer.
She graduated from Greenon High School in 1996 and from Clark State School of Nursing in 2000 as an RN.
Jamie was an angel to her patients as she worked on the surgical floor at Community Hospital.
Jamie was active in 4-H, FFA where she earned her State Farmer Degree, and Junior Fair Board for the Clark County Fair.
She was the leader of the RFD 4-H Club, served on the sheep committee, and the Clark County Fair was one of her favorite places to be.
She also was a Cincinnati Reds, Ohio State Buckeyes and Dallas Cowboys fan.
Jamie also served as a council member at Bethel Lutheran Church, coached her kids sports teams and volunteered as a room mother at their school.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Maurer and her grandparents, Rodger and Bertha Jenkins, Paul and Jean Maurer.
Jamie will be remembered for her sweet spirit, beautiful smile, heart of gold and her desire to help others.
Her last act of giving was to be an organ donor. Rest well – We love you.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in Clifton Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Clark County 4-H Endowment Fund, P.O. Box 444, Springfield, Ohio 45501.
