Achille was the 12th child of Noel and Marguerite Dion of St. Pierre les Becquets, Quebec. Achille is found on the 1861, 1871, and 1881 St. Pierre les Becquets Census records. By 1881 he is living on his own, unmarried.

It is possible that Achille moved to New Bedford, MA and married a Christina although this has not been proven to be him.

Achille died 16 January 1913 in Escanaba, Delta, MI where his older sister Elvina (Moras) and her family moved in the 1880's. Achille was widowed at the time of his death.

Death certificate lists burial on 18 January 1913 in St. Josephs Cemetery, also known as The Holy Cross Cemetery, in Escanaba, Michigan.
