Regina L. Karr, of Blue Hill, Nebraska died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Mary Lanning HealthCare, Hastings, Nebraska.Regina, the daughter of Ruby Hazel (Reiter) and Maurice Christian Krichau, was born September 26, 1921 north of Hazard, Nebraska.

Regina moved with her family as a young girl to the farm north of Bladen in Adams county, Nebraska. She received her formal education attending rural school and the Bladen (NE.) public schools. On June 1, 1946 she was united in marriage with Norman Robert Karr at Smith Center, Kansas. This union was blessed with eight children, Darrell, Garold, Charlene, Craig, Pamela, Tammy, Patty and Jeffrey.

They made their home and raised their family in the Bladen, Nebraska community. Regina was employed at various jobs through the years, and then retired from the Blue Hill Care Center, Blue Hill, Nebraska as head of their housekeeping/laundry department.

In her leisure time she enjoyed a number of activities including bowling, camping, fishing and cooking., She especially cherished and looked forward to the time spent with her family.

Preceding her in death were: parents; husband, Norman Karr and sons, Darrell and Jeffrey Karr.

Left to cherish her memory are: children, Garold Karr and wife Cheryl of Hastings, Nebraska, Charlene Reiman and husband Gary of Blue Hill, Nebraska, Craig Karr and friend Mary Ann Zubrod of Hastings, Nebraska, Pamela Karr of Blue Hill, Nebraska, Tammy Strickland and husband Frank of Stamford, Nebraska and Patty Karr of Blue Hill, Nebraska; daughter-in-law, Connie Karr of Hastings, Nebraska; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Russell Krichau and wife Delores and a host of relatives and friends.

Interment was in the East Lawn Cemetery, Bladen, Nebraska.
