On Monday, June 8, 1981, Mary Louise Eva Swain, of Portage la Prairie

Prayers will be said on Tuesday, June 9 at 7:30 p.m in St. Hyacinth's Roman Catholic Church, where the funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 10 at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow in the family plot in Hillside Cemetery.

Eva was born May 2, 1910 in Indian Springs, Man., the daughter of Priscilla and Joseph Boucher. She was raised in Portage and attended West Ward and Victoria Schools. On May 3, 1927 she was married to Joseph Philip Swain by Father Derome in St. John's Church in Portage.

Predeceased by her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. George Aymont and a daughter Mrs. Bill (Gloria) Delorme, St. Norbert, she is survived by her husband Joseph of Winnipeg; six children, Mrs. George (Louise) Jones of Lockport, Man., Delford of Calgary, Alta., Gordon of Surrey, B.C., Mrs. Guy (Phyllis) Charlebois of Revelstoke, B.C., Garry and Karl of Winnipeg; 25 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Also left to mourn her passing, are three sisters, Mrs. Joe (Jean) Mazurat, Mrs. Bill (Lillian) Buchanan and Mrs. Fred (Vina) Delorme, all of Portage.

Arrangements in the care of Trimble Jackson Funeral Chapel.
