Lola May Hubbard, wife of Luther I. Hubbard and daughter of the late John W. & Mary E. Sturgeon, was born in Crawford County on September 8, 1898 and died unexpectedly at her home in English, In., Wednesday evening January 28, 1970, at the age of 71.
She was married to a Hanover and was later married to Luther I. Hubbard in Paoli, In. on August 17, 1945.
Surviving besides her husband, were a daughter from her first marriage, Mrs. Helen Hanover Tague, of Alton, Ill.; a brother, Arnold Sturgeon, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Hawkins, of Oregon; a grandson, Gene Tague, of Alton, Ill., and a granddaughter, Mrs. Peggy Vogelpohl, of East Alton, Ill., and a step-grandchild, Chester Lee Hubbard, of New Albany, In.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Denbo Funeral Home in English, In..
Burial was in the Denbo Cemetery.
