E. Pauline Kruse
DUGGER - E. Pauline Kruse, 100, of Dugger, passed away on May 20, 2013, at Miller's Merry Manor in Sullivan. Pauline was born Oct. 7, 1912, in Sullivan County, the daughter of John Fifer and Verna Booker Fifer. She was a homemaker. Pauline was a member of Mount Calvary Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Lou Goodman Moore; four brothers, Robert Fifer, Jesse Jiggs Fifer, Cecil "Blackie" Fifer and Richard Wayne Fifer; and two sisters, Dola Brodie and Helen Thompson.
Survivors include one son, James R. Goodman (Nancy) of Dugger; one daughter, Norma Jean Goodman Meeks of Dugger; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday May 22, 2013, at Newkirk's Funeral Home, with Pastor Ralph Roach officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, located in Sullivan. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
