Richard "Rick" Gallegos, age 50, a lifelong resident of Los Lentes, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 17, 2013 at home surrounded by his family.
Rick was a member of the San Clemente Catholic Church.
Rick aka Turk was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and loved fishing, playing baseball, basketball and spending time with his family.
Rick was preceded in death by his loving mother, Maggie Gallegos and brother, Randy Gallegos.
Rick is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Trish Gallegos and son, Richard Gallegos Jr., loving father, Robert Gallegos, loving in-laws, Roger and Ruby Westerhold, six loving siblings, Dave and his wife, Petra, Mike and his wife, Elizabeth, Tanya, Jeannie, Tim and his wife, Michelle and Margaret, sister-in-law, Geraldine, brother-in-law, Anthony García and Kelly and many nieces and nephews.
All services will be held at San Clemente Catholic Church, beginning with a visitation at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2013 with a Rosary to be recited at 5:30 p.m. A final visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2013 with Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Los Lentes Catholic Cemetery.
