Peter Copp

Peter B. Copp, 74, of 830 Chestnut St., formerly of Chicago, died at 11:50 a.m. Monday (June 30, 1986) at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria, where he had been a patient 12 days.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Church, the Rev. Clyde Young officiating. Burial will be in Reilly Cemetery, Rutland.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Folkers-Froelich Memorial Home, the rosary recited at 8 p.m.

He was born April 28, 1912, at Rutland,
a son of Veness and Frances Bunetta Copp.
He married Irene Broucek on May 28, 1954, at Summit.
She survives.

Also surviving are three step-sons,
Robert Broucek, Joliet;
James Broucek, Hoffman Estates;
and Albert Broucek, Thornton;
one brother, Joseph, Pontiac;
two sisters,
Rose Baer, Minonk;
and Bernice Streeper, East Peoria;
seven stepgrandchildren;
and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.

Mr. Copp worked for 38 years in the tool department of Page Engineering in McCook. He moved to Minonk 12 years ago. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church and a 40-year member of the Cicero Moose Lodge.
