Brandon Daniel Bishop, 20, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away on May 19, 2013.

Brandon was born May 7, 1993, to Bruce and Jill Bishop.

He attended Shawnee Mission North and graduated in 2011. He was currently attending Johnson County Community College, pursuing a degree in Graphic Design.

He enjoyed playing football, wrestling, golf, quoting funny movies and sharing his love for music with the neighborhood through the volume in his car. He was also an active prepper for the upcoming zombie apocalypse. His personal motto was "F.O.E.".

Brandon is survived by his parents; his sister and best friend, Ashlee; grandparents, Rich and Karen Mohney; great grandmother, Mary Meyer; The Helm Family, Lynn, Bob, Ben and Kenzie; The Mohney Family, Rich, Jenn, Shawn, Kearston and Jackie; The Shelton Family, Terri, Matt, Bri and Myrle; and practically family, Jany and John Kerby, Haylee and Kelsey Wiggins.

Brandon is preceded in death by his grandparents, Papa Sam and Nanny Pat Bishop; great grandparents, Alfred and Anna Myrle Bishop, Wayne and Carolyn Garrett, Daniel A. Meyer, and Marion and Dora Mae Lee.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Overland Park, Kansas.
