KURMADAS
Leo James Kurmadas, 76, passed away Thursday, July 1, 1999. He was born on August 27, 1922 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Prior to his retirement he was the business agent for the National Maritime Union in Corpus Christi. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Plomarity Kurmadas. He is survived by one brother, Pete Kurmadas and his wife, Allene, two sisters, Janie Daily and Mrs. Lela Repana, nieces, Sharon Wilson, Connie McMaken and her husband, Bruce, Bess Tsaroumis, nephew, Greg Kurmadas, great nephews, Evan Tsaroumis, Samson Tsaroumis, Anthony McMaken, great nieces, Christy Tsaroumis and Alexandra McMaken, all of Houston.
Trisagion Services will be at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 6, 1999 at the Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 7, 1999 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Father Christos P. Matos officiating. Interment will follow in Seaside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 502 S. Chaparral St., Corpus Christi, Texas 78401.
