Mr. Malehorn was a residential painter. Previously, he worked for the former A. B. Falker Co. and B.M.Y. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of W.W.II and a member of Family Worship Center Foursquare Gospel in~ West York. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 791 in Shiloh.
Born December 2, 1918, in Freysville, he was the son of the late Howard W. and Emma Jane (Ness) Malehorn.
Besides his wife, he is also survived by a son, Russell O. Malehorn of York; a daughter, ldaleen L. Bankert of Lakeland, Fla; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; three sisters, Dorothy Jacobs of Dover, and Sadie Runkle and Beulah Moul, both of York; and several nieces and nephews.
The viewing was held Monday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home Inc., 2114 W. Market St. The funeral service .will be 1 p.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. Chuck Davis officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, with military honors by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
