HURRICANE - Anthony L. Sowards, 45, of Hurricane died June 27, 1999, at home of an apparent heart attack, according to Hurricane police.
Surviving: companion, Connie June McDaniel; mother, Loretta Gipson Sowards of Hurricane; sisters, Cheryl Sowards of Hurricane, Donna Buchanan of Akron, Ohio, Tina Duvall of Cleveland; brothers, Jeffrey Sowards and Darrell Sowards, both of Hurricane, David Sowards of Mount Olive.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kingery Cemetery, Hurricane, with the Rev. Ray Sovine officiating. Friends may call from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
