Bert Watson was the son of John Broadhead Watson and Alice Mabel Cole. He was married first, in Providence, Rhode Island on 5 June 1913 to Ethel S. COOPER, b. 20 Apr 1892, and d. Providence 12 Feb 1914, while pregnant. The infant boy was taken from her, but lived less than one day. He married second on 21 March 1916, Ada Frances ROWE, the daughter of George H. Rowe and Lilla May Starky. Ada was the mother of his two surviving children. He married third, at the Rockingham Hotel in Portsmouth, NH on 26 June 1954 Muriel Rose (PHILPOT) Pingree, the daughter of Alonzo Franklin Philpot and Rosie Ellen Clark. Bert and Muriel moved from Rhode Island to Florida in 1956. Bert was a banker, and involved in a number of real estate ventures. He and Muriel established the Lighthouse Center for Visual Impairment in Pinellas County, FL.
