Josephine Fontes
Josephine Elizabeth Fontes of Salinas died Friday at the Skyline Convalescent Hospital after a brief illness. she was 95.
A native of Monterey she was a resident of Salinas throughout her adult life and was a homemaker and member of Sacred Heart Church.
Mrs. Fontes is survived by five grandchildren including Coleen Moore of San Jose and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Sunday from 1-9 p.m. at Whitehurst/Muller Chapel. Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7 p.m. in the mortuary chaple. Services will be Monday at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. intombment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
