DARLINGTON - Funeral service for Mrs. Delores Marica Johnson Jordan of Darlington will be 11:00 a. m. Friday, June 10, 2011 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Cecil Bromell, Pastor. Rev. K. C. Brown, Officiating. Burial will follow in New Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc., Darlington. Mrs. Jordan died Tuesday, June 7th at her residence after an illness.

She was born in Darlington County a daughter of the late Willie Mae Johnson Warren and Cecil Williamson, Sr. She was a graduate of Mayo High School Class of 1961. After graduation, she worked as a dispatcher at Pee Dee Taxi.

At an early age, she attended Church of God and New Providence Baptist Church. After moving to Washington, DC she attended New Southern Rock Baptist Church. After returning to Darlington, she attended New Providence Baptist Church where she worked with the Youth Group and also attended New Providence United Methodist Church with her husband.

Survivors include: her husband, Cleveland Jordan of the home; one son and his fianc?, Carlton Wade Jordan and Crystal Battle of Duluth, GA; one step-son, Mark A. Johnson of Scranton, PA; two step grandchildren: LaMar Johnson of Onley, MD and Lacey Johnson of Scranton, PA; one step great grandson, Jahsir; two sisters, Paula Harris of Philadelphia, PA and Tonya L. Williamson of Darlington, SC; four brothers: Cecil Williamson, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Marshall Williamson of Richmond, VA, Michael Williamson of Charlotte, NC and Alphonso (Carolyn) Washington of Florence, SC; one aunt, Ruth W. Shula of Darlington; 5 sisters-in-law; 3 brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins, her best friend, Barbara P. Roberson.

She was preceded in death by a son, Raphael Nicholas Jordan.

The family is receiving friends at the residence, 711 South Main Street, Darlington.
