Harry Schwarz, 44, businessman and musician died at his home here Thursday morning after a heart attack. Born in Fredericksburg and graduated from the local schools, he later attended the old St. Louis College in San Antonio and attended voice in Chicago. In San Antonio he was a member of the Alzafar Shrine Band and choir, the choir of the First Baptist Church, and when he returned to Fredericksburg he played in the local band, was a member of the Concordia Singing Society and directed the Fredericksburg High High School Choral Club last year until ill health forced his retirement. He leaves a widow who was Miss Margaret Threlkeld; two sons, Harry Jr. and Vernon, his mother, Mrs. Mary Schwarz of San Antonio; four sisters, Miss Dorothy Schwarz; Mrs. Alvin L. Whitley; Mrs. James.A Schmulen and Mrs. Charles L Buck of San Antonio and three brothers, H.H. and Arthur Schwarz of San Antonio and Charles of Legion.
