Floyd Cummins, age 70, Coatesville, passed away May 15, 2013 at Putnam County Hospital. He was born on May 13, 1943, the son of Clarence Everett and Lena Fisher Cummins. He was the owner and mechanic at Cummins Garage, Coatesville and a member of Plainfield Christian Church. Survivors: Wife – Marjorie Jean Curtis Cummins, who he married on Nov. 6, 1961; Daughter – Sandy PaHud and husband, Phillip, Clayton; Sons – Don Cummins and wife, Beth, Coatesville, and Dale Cummins and wife, Stephanie, Monrovia; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; Sisters – Doris Wells, CA. and Wanda Lewallen, FL.; Brother – Charles and wife, Karla, FL. He was preceded by his Parents, Son – Gary Wayne; and Brothers – Harold Everett and James Richard Cummins.

There was no better auto mechanic in Hendricks County than Floyd. He had worked for his Father from the age of 13, when he replaced his first motor at Sterling Heights i Bridgeport.
He continued working at the various locations his Dad operated, until Dad retired. Floyd then built his own garage in Coatesville, next to his residence.
