Evelyn Terry Neil, 77, of American Fork died May 8, 2007 in Orem, Utah. Born August 17, 1929 in Park City, Utah, the daughter of George Willis and Melda Hooley Terry. She married James Alma Neil August 2, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away June 16, 1971. She loved to cook and crochet and loved and taught children. She will be missed by all.
Survivors include five sons and three daughters: Marsha Neil, Julia Neil, Arlene (Gary) Evans, James Alma Neil, Jr., Sheldon (Jodi) Neil, Terry (Debbie) Neil, Darren (Sandy) Neil, Dennis Neil, 29 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren; two sisters, Lola (Heinz) Leonheart and Naomi (Jay) Nelson and a brother LeEarl (Mayreen) Terry. Preceded in death by a sister Clarene, a brother Milton, granddaughter Tamra, and a grandson Travis.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork 23rd Ward, 680 North 350 West. Friends may call Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E 100 N, American Fork and Saturday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
