He had been employed as a pressman by the Herald-Mail Co. for 40 years. He was a member of the Hagerstown V.F.W.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Hines Bailey; one son, Albertus R. Bailey, Jr., Ca.; three daughters, Mrs. Peggy Dye, Mrs. Connie Higgs, and Mrs. Patricia Ardinger, all of Hagerstown; brother, Elmer Bailey, Hagerstown; five sisters, Mrs. Margaret Foltz, Mrs. Bertha Wolf, Mrs. Hilda Hoffman, Mrs. Kathleen Davis and Mrs. Virginia Smith, all of Hagerstown; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
Services were held in the Rest Haven Funeral Home. Burial in Rest Haven Cemetery with military honors.
