She married Thomas Jefferson Graham July 12, 1849 in Lawrence County, Alabama.

After Thomas Jefferson's death, Charity moved to Arkansas with her youngest daughters: Charity Jane who married Ned Hughes and Mollie May who was not married when they left Alabama. She died August 2, 1914 near Cabot, Arkansas and is buried in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
